After graduating with a degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology N.Y.C., I put my career on hold to raise 4 amazing daughters with my husband Ken. But, I never stopped sewing! From Halloween costumes to Girl Scout uniforms & wardrobes for the school play, I did it all! Quickly, I became known as the community seamstress, who never turned down a job or a challenge.
Now that our toddlers have grown into teens, opening a dedicated sewing studio seemed like a natural next step!
In a word, EVERYTHING! Trained as a tailor but with a passion for interior design (and anything in between) there's nothing I haven't done! From wedding gowns to Harley seat covers, I'm willing to discuss any project you might have!
With family at the heart of my business, I am an active member of the community serving as a volunteer at our local schools, church and library.
And, I have proudly been the leader of Girl Scout Troop #95082 for 12 years.
Sharing my skills & knowledge: aside from teaching the girl scouts, I also teach a weekly sewing class to neighbors & friends (both old & new).
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during business hours.
